Get Married in Indiana: Weddings at the Delaware Township Community Center 

This past weekend I had the pleasure of coordinating a wedding reception at a hidden gem in Hamilton County, Indiana: the Deleware Township Community Center.

If you are looking for an affordable (or budget) reception space to hold your wedding or event, you will want to check out this venue! The Deleware Township Community Center has a very nice, nutrally colored banquet room that can seat up to 300 people (250 with a dance floor). In addition, this reception venue (located in Fishers - just miles north of Indianapolis) allows outside catering.

Here is a quick list of highlights for weddings held at the Deleware Township Community Center:

Location: 9094 E. 131st Street, Fishers, IN, directly behind the Government Center

Capacity: 300 Seated, 250 with dance floor (in banquet room) There is also a generous pre function space perfect for a cocktail hour.

Outside catering allowed? Yes

Amenities:  5 foot round banquet tables, 6 foot long banquet tables, banquet style chairs

Rental Rates (as of May 12, 2012):

Saturdays - $500 (Delaware Township Resident), $650 (Non-Delaware Township Resident)

Sundays - $300 (Delaware Township Resident), $400 (Non-Delaware Township Resident)

I did not know they allow outside catering. It seems like a great venue! I am excited to photograph a wedding there this summer. I hope you will be posting a few photos of the wedding you coordinated!
