Wedding Desserts in a Jar

I pretty sure that it is a proven fact that desserts taste better when served in a jar. A couple of my favorite desserts served in a jar have been red velvet cupcakes and pie.

But, what about a malt served in a jar? I’m sure it would be scrumdelioumpcious as well!

Here’s the recipe for Bing Cherry Malts
2 cups Bing cherries, pitted
2 to 3 tablespoons malted milk powder (usually found by the hot cocoa in stores)
1/4 to 1/3 cup milk
4 cups vanilla ice cream, softened slightly
Whipped cream for garnish, optional

Blend all the ingredients together in a blender. Garnish with whipped cream for extra decadence.

Dessert in a jar is cute and allows guest to bring home left overs. Perfect!
