Disco Balls at a Wedding?
Monday, June 21, 2010 at 6:35AM If someone told me they were going to decorate their wedding with disco balls, my immediate thought would be cheesy. I am so glad that the talented duo from Brancoprata proved me wrong. 
Even the bride’s shoes are “disco ballesque”. Enjoy these pictures and Happy Monday!

You might associate the disco ball with the disco area of the 70s but the fact is that the history started a lot earlier. Disco balls were popular all through the 20s which means that the disco ball predates the disco area with over 50 years. They did their debut on the big screen in 1927 when a disco ball appeared in the German silent film "Berlin: Die Sinfonie der Großstadt" which roughly translates into "the symphony of the large city".
